Belgrade Forest is a beautiful forest popular for activities such as hiking and walking, and a good place for nature lovers. There are a variety of interesting plants to discover in the deciduous forest, and it is also home to some old aqueducts and recreation spots including, the Ayvad Dam, Büyük Çeşme, Falih Rıfkı Atay, the Fatih Fountain, Irmak, the Kirazlı Dam, the Kurt Arch, Kömürcü Dam, Neşet Suyu and the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Recreation Area.

For nature lovers, the 6 km hiking trail surrounded by a beautiful lake, is ideal for walking, jogging, or running in nature. The forest offers a charming mix of trees, including oaks, oriental birches, hornbeams, and the Anatolian chestnut. Many species of birds and animals such as Weasels, Deer, and Snakes can be seen here - if you are lucky, even a Fox or a Wolf!
