The Village of Anchors 

For another little slice of village charm, Çengelköy is a very lively seaside neighbourhood surrounded by centuries-old plane trees and charming villas, located after Kuzguncuk and Beylerbeyi in the north of Üsküdar. Here you can feel the traditional life on the Bosphorus. 

Popular sights include the Çengelköy Fountain, Çınaraltı Mosque, and the numerous fish restaurants and cafés next to the ferry port and around the colourful Çengelköy Square invite you to linger.
