Emirgan Park

 Emirgan Park in Sarıyer is a beautiful park with roots from the Eastern Roman era. Rich in flora and fauna, what makes the park a popular tourist attraction are the well-maintained walking trails, picnic areas, and beautiful scenery. The park houses a pond and three old mansions named "Yellow Pavilion", "White Pavilion" and "Pink Pavilion". These mansions are used for private functions and also serve as cafeterias and restaurants. Emirgan Park offers a perfect balance between nature and history and is a worthwhile place to visit.

A trip to Emirgan Park is especially worthwhile in spring, as it is one of the main venues for the İstanbul Tulip Festival, and in April the formal gardens in the central part of the park bloom in a blaze of colourful tulips.
