Miniaturk
Showcase of Türkiye
Located on the northeastern shore of the Golden Horn, this miniature park boasts of being one of the largest of its kind in the world. The park is a treasure trove of miniature replicas of Türkiye’s most famous buildings, combining architectural sophistication with the history of past Ottoman and Eastern Roman civilisations. The park houses models of more than a hundred historical and architectural structures, including - but not limited to - Library of Celsus at Ephesus, the Malabadi Bridge in Diyarbakir, the Temple of Artemis, the Basilica Cistern (Yerebatan), Stone houses of Mardin, the Grand Mosque of Bursa, the Tomb of Mevlana in Konya, Dome of the Rock (Mescid-i Aksa), the Church of St. Antoine in İstanbul, Fairy chimneys of Cappadocia, Atatürk's Mausoleum in Ankara, Aspendos Theatre in Antalya, the Ayasofya Mosque and the Maiden's Tower. Here, undulating lawns alternate with winding paths, while a miniature railway rolls through the well-arranged park. Miniatürk is a place where one can be unhindered by inspiration and introspection - an escape into Türkiye’s rich historical and architectural heritage.
