Üsküdar is also a perfect blend of old and new architecture. Nevmekan Sahil, which also means ‘new place’, is one of the coolest academic spaces, is a multifunctional building that serves as a café, art gallery, library, and study space.  

This transformative place when you enter the building, at first you will see a café and a seating area and an art exhibition around the central room. The centrepiece of Nevmekan Sahil is the magnificent library with a spectacular domed ceiling, which by no means is understated. This circular room is lined with books and offers ample space for reading, studying, eating, and chatting. A fine example of an architectural wonder to create a fluid hub to inspire students to study and socialise.
