    Yıldız Park

Yıldız Park is a welcome change from the breakneck pace of the surrounding city. This relaxing and tranquil park in the middle of İstanbul is home to several lakes, pavilions, green gardens, and stunning views. Originally part of the Yıldız Palace, the park has since taken on a life of its own. Not to be missed, there is also a porcelain factory on the site, which is still in operation today.

Some small areas of the park are still densely forested, with oaks, pines, yews, and ash trees intertwined with the series of footpaths that wind uphill and downhill through the park and towards the lakes. The park's facilities are great for families, as there are several children's playgrounds on the grounds. For runners, there is a dedicated running track.

Yıldız Park stretches all the way down the slope to the Çırağan Palace, offers a panoramic view of the Bosphorus, and is very popular at weekends as one of the city's largest green spaces.
